Sinemorets, one of the last Bulgarian Black-Sea coast villages before the Turkish border, during communist times was a forbidden area and until a few years ago used to be a hidden secret among nature addicted individual visitors. Since then some small touristic development has taken place, but still Sinemorets - with its unspoilt village life and incredibly beautiful natural beaches - is by far the best remote place on the whole coast.Situated between famous Butamjata beach and endless virgin subtropical forests, Sinemorets attracts not only beach tourists but also nature and culture lovers: Nearby Strandzha Mountains are one of least known regions in Europe and more than worth a visit. You can find there genuine villages with traditional houses and extremely friendly locals.
